RALLY
Save St Fitticks Park!
Fight for a community and worker led transition!
12pm, Sunday 31st July
St Nicolas St Aberdeen
Climate Camp Scotland is bringing the fight to end fossil fuels extraction to the heart of the UK oil and gas industry. Next to protesting loud and clear against recent decisions by the UK government to allow the Cambo and Jackdaw oilfields to go ahead, we are making clear how the transition from fossil fuels to renewables should be organised instead.
Hear from local communities and workers and help us push the need for decision making on the transition to be shaped by those whose future will be most directly affected.
On St Nicholas Street, we will hear speeches from:
Fridays for Future
Stop Cambo
Steve Gray, Aberdeen Trade Union Council
Ian Baird, Friends of St Fittick's Park
Christian Allard, SNP
Maggie Chapman, Greens
